Did you know that every $$ contribution to the Polio campaign of Rotary is matched two more $$ from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. So why step back when we can exponentially contribute to the cause.
With everyone's support, we have surpassed our target of $750 and have not set the new target as $1000. Let us see how quickly we can beat that.
Rotary has been tirelessly working to eradicate polio for over 35 years and Rotary Club of Ambattur has been part of this journey in the community it serves all along. While Polio has reduced by 99.9% it is important to continue the journey to end polio else in another 10 years, polio could paralyze as many as 200,000 children per year. Join the fund raising program of Rotary Club of Ambattur to eradicate Polio with your small contribution today.
Dear Friends: I am a champion of the Polio Eradication Program of Rotary and wish to support my bit in contributing to the eradication of POLIO in our neighbouring Countries where it is still prevalent. Will be happy if you can support this cause and donate your bit for this noble cause. Afterall we during our child hood and our children for that matter have been given this polio drops by none other than the field force of Rotarians across the world! Please take time to watch the attached Video by Rotary International President!
We at Rotary Club of Chennai ECR are overwhelmed by the support we are getting to raise funds for the Polio campaign. We have almost reached our initial target of USD 500 within 48 hours of posting the appeal. The world is certainly full of noble people.
We are increasing our goal by 50% of the initial goal and have now revised our goal to USD 750. We hope we will continue to receive everyone's support towards this goal. As we mentioned earlier even a small donation of $2 will support the cause. Please do share this appeal with your friends too.

Rotary is one of the biggest reasons for near eradication of the deadly Polio Virus from the face of the Earth. As on date only Afghanistan & Pakistan have live cases, but it could spread to other countries if prudent steps are not taken NOW. Hence i request join hands with us to eradicate it.
Also Every Dollar of ours is Mached twice by Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Hence your actual contribution is triple the amount you contribute.
It is with great pride that we inform you that one of our own Rotarian has been named one of TIME’s “100 Most Influential People in the World.” Just a few moments ago, Dr. Tunji Funsho, Rotary’s Nigeria National PolioPlus Chair was named to the TIME 100 list for his critical leadership in working with Rotary members and our partners to achieve a wild polio-free Nigeria and eradicate the wild poliovirus in the African region. He is the first Rotary member to receive this honor for our work to eradicate polio.
