On June 25th, I will be jumping out of an airplane in support of eradicating polio worldwide. Will you please support me in this effort? I, and other Rotarians will be challenging our fear of heights and reaching way beyond our comfort zone in this effort. Your support would mean so much!

That in 1985 when Rotary started PolioPlus and again in 1988 when the Global Polio Eradication Initiative was launched there were 1000 cases of paralytic polio in the world EVERY DAY! Today, every country in the world is polio free but two: Pakistan and Afghanistan and in those two countries only two cases of paralytic polio so far in 2022.
But we are not done yet. Eradicating the last few cases is part of the challenge but there are half a million new babies born every year and they need the vaccine too to insure they are not infected with this terrible disease.
