We work worldwide with our partners the United Nations World Health Organization and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to make polio only the second virus to be eliminated. You have heard that polio has resurfaced recently in Gaza. Until polio is eliminated from everywhere on the earth no part of the earth can be guaranteed safe in the future.
