Why I am fundraising for The Rotary Foundation
Hi, I'm Aravinda, born and raised in Sri Lanka, settled in Norway. I'm a member of the Tønsberg Rotary Club, District 2290.

In November 2025, Sri Lanka was struck by the worst flood & landslides in decades. More than 600 lives were lost. Thousands of families are displaced, grieving, and in urgent need of support.

The total damage amounts to several billion US dollars, while the international aid mobilized so far covers only a small fraction of this loss. The gap is enormous.
