The Rotary Foundation has created a Morocco Earthquake Response Fund to help people affected by the 6.8-magnitude quake on 8 September that killed thousands of people, injured even more, and caused widespread destruction. Contributions to the fund will support disaster response grants that will make an impact by meeting urgent needs such as food, medical care, and shelter. The fund will accept donations through 31 December 2023 and grants will be available to District 9010 until 21 September 2024, or until all the funds are spent.
