Why I am fundraising for The Rotary Foundation
Ralph Zuke's Ride for Polio continues this year for more than 1,000 miles, covering the distance between St. Louis and Houston for the Rotary International Conference to aid Rotary's commitment to End Polio Now, a campaign to eradicate polio. Polio is a paralyzing and potentially deadly infectious disease that is so close to being globally eradicated.
Ralph's Ride began in 2018 with a ride from St. Louis to Toronto for Rotary International Conference and in 2021 he completed a continuous 24-hour ride while raising funds to fight polio. For more information about the 2018 ride, go to https://www.rotary.org/en/rotarian-rides-bicycle-toronto-convention .
Rotary began working to eradicate polio more than 35 years ago and is a founding partner of Global Polio Eradication Initiative. Rotarians have donated more than $2.1 billion and countless volunteer hours towards the cause.
Ralph trains and covers the cost of his ride. 100% of your donation will go to fight polio.
