I look forward to this ride each year, and it places an essential focus on End Polio Now. The endurance it takes to finish this race is a reminder of Rotary’s determination to finish what we started over 35 years ago and eradicate a human disease for only the second time in history. That thought carries me over the finish line each year.
17 Days until the ride. There is still time for you to contribute to the ride.
I encourage all of you to go listen to the Polio Update podcast, "Closing in on Zero" that was released on World Polio Day. It is a great reminder of why I participate in El Tour de Tucson.

I am happy to share that my blog post was posted yesterday on the El Tour de Tucson website.
