Sorry to say but the cases of wild polio continue to increase, mainly in Pakistan! We are now up to 78 cases: 23 in Afghanistan and 55 in Pakistan! So we are going to extend this fundraiser until 10 December. We need to keep funding this fight to eradicate polio. Let's help those children to walk!
Bad news continues! There are now 71 cases of wild polio: 23 in Afghanistan and 48 in Pakistan! There were only 11 cases last year at this time. We can't give up our fight to eliminate this terrible disease; we have to do it for the children, so they may walk.
Sorry to say, but we are now up to 64 cases of wild polio: 23 in Afghanistan and 39 in Pakistan. We can't let up now, if we do the World Health Organization says that in 10 years we would have 200,000 cases a year of wild polio! Don't let that happen! Continue donating so that we can finish this job of eliminating polio! We do it so the children can walk!
Well, the bad news continues. We are now up to 54 cases of wild polio: 22 in Afghanistan and 32 in Pakistan. The good news is that they are doing a second series of vaccinations in Gaza, hoping to vaccinate another 640,000 children - so glad they are able to do that, in that environment!
We now have 46 cases of wild polio: 22 in Afghanistan & 24 in Pakistan. And while we were successful in vaccinating 640,000 children under 10 in Gaza, we have to do it again in 4-6 weeks. Rotary gave $500,000 to that effort, and will probably do the same again. So, we need to keep the contributions to PolioPlus going in! Help us win this war against this terrible childhood disease!
We need your help in this fight against polio! There are now 34 cases of wild polio: 18 in Afghanistan and 16 in Pakistan. That doesn't count the case in Gaza, and while they are vaccinating thousands of children, we know from the positive soil samples that the virus is there, so we can expect more cases.
