I want to stamp out Polio for good, and we are pretty close to doing it. However, it will take a big final push. I know times are tough, living in a pandemic, but donating to the PolioPlus fund supports the world's most vulnerable people in ways other than polio vaccination programs. In the world's most poverty stricken areas, sometimes the polio eradication infrastructure is the only health infrastructure readily available to people. Polio eradication teams provide more than polio vaccinations and are proving useful in the fight against Covid-19 as well.
Because of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (which matches 2:1 any money donated to PolioPlus) a little goes a long way. I am trying to raise a total of $500 USD. With the matching, that would add up to $1500 USD.
