Why I am fundraising for The Rotary Foundation
I am trekking to Everest Base Camp in April this year with a group of Berry NSW people. We are being led by Rotarian and local mountaineer Ken Hutt. My goal is to raise $2000 to help eradicate polio, once and for all, to ensure all children worldwide are vaccinated. Rotary have been significant, for decades, in the quest to beat polio, their commitment has been nothing short of amazing. It is a testament to their success that cases are down and can now only be found in 2 countries. I am proud to play some small part and hope you can contribute.

“I once met a man who told me climbing Mount Everest was like racing in the Dakar Rally, he knew because he had done both. Train hard race easy, if you know what I mean.”
