This is the Cessna T210 that we'll be flying to meet Rotarians in more than 35 cities in 25 different countries.

Why we are fundraising for The Rotary Foundation
Peter Teahen and John Ockenfels are raising awareness for polio eradication by piloting a single engine aircraft all the way around the globe!

​They will take off from Cedar Rapids, Iowa May 5, 2023 in a Cessna T210M (single engine) airplane. Along the way, they will encourage support of ending polio forever by raising awareness and meeting with other Rotarians across the world.

​Both Peter and John are pilots, Rotarians, and members of the International Fellowship of Flying Rotarians. The pilots are covering the entire cost of the approximately 90 day trip so 100% of your contribution will be donated to the Rotary Foundation Polio Plus Program to help eradicate polio. Thanks to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, your donation will be matched 2:1, getting us even closer to a polio-free world.
