Peace is a cornerstone of Rotary's mission, and it does not happen by accident. It must be built deliberately and strategically. For my birthday on July 4th, I want to help Create Lasting Impact by fundraising for our Foundation's Peacebuilding and Conflict Prevention Fund.

By carrying out service projects and supporting peace fellowships and scholarships, Rotary members take action to address the underlying causes of conflict, including poverty, discrimination, ethnic tension, lack of access to education, and unequal distribution of resources.

As Rotary International President, I will be working to advance peace and creating lasting impact, on Rotary and on the world. Will you join me?
