Why I am fundraising for The Rotary Foundation
On 29 May 2026, Konstantinos Tzias will run 42.135 kilometres through the Himalayas from Everest Base Camp — 5,364 metres above sea level. He will be the first Greek to compete in this race since 2003.

In 2015, he was in Nepal when the 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck. He immediately helped gather funds, supplies and clothing for those who lost everything. He has continued to support Nepal's recovery ever since.

Now, at 40, he returns — to run, and to give back.

Our goal is €5364 — one euro for every metre of altitude. Every donation goes directly to Rotary International's humanitarian programmes. Aggelakakis & Associates covers all participation costs, so every euro raised here goes entirely to the cause.

Join us at the summit.
