Why I am fundraising for The Rotary Foundation
Through the science of immunisation, Rotary International and its global partners have saved an estimated 20 million children from becoming paralysed by Polio. Since Rotary founded the PolioPlus campaign in 1985, the world has seen a 99.9% reduction in Polio cases.

The Rotary Club of Claremont is committed to helping The Rotary Foundation accomplish its No 1 Philanthropic Goal - the eradication of Polio worldwide.

Only two countries remain endemic: Pakistan and Afghanistan.
