Why I am fundraising for The Rotary Foundation
Today we are on the brink of eradicating a human disease for only the second time in history. After a decades-long fight, polio is at last nearly gone.
We cannot stop until we completely eradicate polio, which is why on 18 November, I will join Rotary members from Arizona (D5500) and around the world in El Tour de Tucson to raise funds for polio eradication. The 100-mile ride, which attracts more than 9,000 cyclists a year, is one of the top cycling events in the United States. This year, my personal Miles to End Polio fundraising goal is $3,000. I will need your help in order to meet my stretch goal.
All donors will receive credit and applicable recognition for their donations to my fundraiser. Thank you for your support!
