Update #2

Saturday, 19 November, is the annual #ElTourdeTucson, and it's my 10th year cycling to raise funds for #EndPolio. Today is my birthday, and the best gift I could receive is a contribution to our efforts to eradicate this horrible disease.

Why I am fundraising for The Rotary Foundation
The recent cases of polio around the world, are a great reminder of why raise funds for polio eradication by participating in the El Tour de Tucson.

This will be my 10th time joining Rotary members to cycle in El Tour de Tucson to raise funds for polio eradication. I will be cycling 102 miles. The ride is one of the top cycling events in the United States and attracts more than 9,000 cyclists each year. Through Miles to End Polio, Rotary has raised nearly $60 million for eradication efforts, including matching funds from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
