Update #3

This Saturday, I will be biking in my 9th El Tour de Tuscon to raise funds to polio eradication. I’m taking on the 102-mile ride along with hundreds of participants—including Past RI Director Brad Howard.

While the ride itself is a challenge—I’ve taken on one more…. raising more than Brad! He’s a fundraising expert, but I plan to give him a run for the money. The first one to raise $5,000 wins, and the “loser” must contribute to the winner’s ride. Please help me cross THAT finish line first!

Why I am fundraising for The Rotary Foundation
Today we are on the brink of eradicating a human disease for only the second time in history. After a decades-long fight, polio is at last nearly gone.

We cannot stop until we completely eradicate polio, which is why on 20 November, a I will join Rotary members from Arizona (D5500) and around the world in El Tour de Tucson to raise funds for polio eradication. The 100-mile ride, which attracts more than 9,000 cyclists a year, is one of the top cycling events in the United States. This year, my personal Miles to End Polio fundraising goal is $20,000. I will need your help in order to meet my stretch goal.
