It is World Polio Day! Let's continue to contribute to this fight to end polio! There are now 38 cases of wild polio: 9 in Afghanistan and 29 in Pakistan, but those numbers are less than this time last year! We are making progress. On this day let's celebrate the fact that we have prevented over 4 million children from being paralyzed with our 40 years of polio vaccinations! Let's keep up the fight and eliminate this disease forever!

Why I am fundraising for The Rotary Foundation

After 40 years, Rotary International is still fighting to eradicate polio. When we started this fight, there were 350,000 cases a year, last year there were 99 in only two countries, so far this year there have been 20. Let's get it to zero! We need to keep funding this fight until there are no children getting paralyzed! Help me raise funds to win this war against polio. Any activity you do will count, any amount will count! Let's raise $150,000 by World Polio Day, October 24th!
