The Rotary Club of Brantford Sunrise is hosting its 2nd Annual
fundraising bicycle ride for Polio Plus. It's a beautiful easy ride along the scenic rail trail from Waterford to Port Dover. As a young child I saw first hand the damage polio can cause in a good friend of my dad's. That is why we will support this cause to help prevent this disease from coming back.
The Rotary Club of Brantford Sunrise is holding our 2nd annual bicycle Ride to raise funds for polio eradication. It is a "sub-event" from the District's ride for those who cannot attend on 01 October. Darion and I are riding 44 km from Waterford to Port Dover and back on Saturday October 22nd. We will be accompanied by other Rotarians, friends and family members. Please help us raise funds for this great cause!
Its that time of year again and I am once again riding to support the Rotary world wide polio eradication program on Saturday October 1st i.e. this weekend. You have probably heard that polio recently became a concern in New York as a result of an infected traveller. Please consider supporting me and this important cause. Any donation will be appreciated and note that for every dollar that you donate the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has pledged to add $2.00. So your $50.00 donation becomes $150.00 going to the program.
District 7090 is launching the third Dr. Ron Mergl Participate for Polio Memorial fundraiser.
Please consider a donation towards our goal of $50,000 to help to eradicate Polio once and for all. Frank Adamson, PDG, District 7090.
