Why I am fundraising for The Rotary Foundation
Participants will Walk-Hike-Climb the trails of Crowders Mountain State Park located in Gaston County, North Carolina, USA, October 7, 2022 to October 22, 2022 in order to raise funds for Rotary International's efforts to eradicate Polio. Gastonia, NC was once home to the North Carolina Orthopedic Hospital which treated many children crippled by Polio in the 1940's and 1950's during the height of the Polio Epidemic in North Carolina and the US.
